If you are a very active person on cryptocurrency world, you may be heard the word "cryptocurrency addiction". It seems it is "a pathological obsession and compulsion to buy and/or sell cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other alternative coins," and may also involve a preoccupation with staying updated on changes in price by constantly observing charts, reading crypto news, and engaging in other means.

Do you think it is a bad addiction (habit) considering the fact that it can bring you lots of fortune!?

It's definitely interesting to see the rise of cryptocurrency addiction as more people become involved in the space. While there's the potential for fortune, it's important to also recognize the potential risks and downsides of being overly obsessed with it. As with anything, balance is key!

I think this is also connected with FOMO. One person who is always trying to be updated with the news so they won't lose any opportunities can develop crypto addiction.

I think the greed for being rich and putting those hard days of past give the investors enough reasons to be addicted to crypto!

You are right. In part, it can be related to FOMO, fear of losing. People talk to each other about what the market is doing, they have wins together, losses together, such an intense shared emotional experience can intensify their fear.
